JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Job positions are open for both experienced and entry level researchers. All successful candidates are expected to dive deep into problem areas of Adobes interest and invent technology solutions to not only advance the current products, but also to generate new product options that can strategically advantage Adobe. The job responsibilities include:
Develop new innovative technology solutions to the research problems, and demonstrating advance concepts. Identifying new research opportunities and generating proposals Conducting operational, financial and go-to-market analysis of the alternative technologies Assist in developing strategies to create new product options that offer engaging and rich digital experience for customers Leverage creativity and adaptability to better anticipate competition moves, quickly respond to market changes and support ever-evolving customer needs The expected work style will demand leading and participating in small technical teams; and manage programs for successful transfer of technologies to internal business/product partners. As researchers, in addition to internal business and engineering partners, they will also interact with customers, external partners and Universities. Publishing the research output in reputed journals and conferences and collaborating with Universities is highly encouraged. QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications include: PhD in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering or science discipline Demonstrated research excellence and publications is peer reviewed international conferences and journals Demonstrated ability to design, implement and demonstrate software systems For senior positions seven or more years of research experience in the relevant fields Demonstrated ability to take bold initiatives and the ability to solve hard problems, prioritize work, and make decisions Strong analytical and mathematical modeling, optimization and software skills and ability to work with multiple levels of abstractions Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including writing, presenting and formal briefings
