LAST DATE: 13-09-2013 COMPANY PROFILE West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997 (West Bengal Act IV 1997) enacted by Notification No. 936-L dated 1.4.1997 came into force with effect from 01.11.1997 for the purpose of recruitment of Assistant Teacher and Headmaster/ Headmistress in recognized Non-Government aided Schools in West Bengal and presently the recruitment processes are guided by the West Bengal School Service Commission (Selection of Persons for Appointment to the Post of Teacher) Rules, 2007. JOB DESCRIPTION Applications in prescribed format are invited from Indian Citizens or such other nationals as are declared eligible by the Govt. of India for recruitment to the following posts under various Regional or District Offices of Government of West Bengal, selection of which will be made through an Open Competitive Examination to be conducted by the West Bengal Staff Selection Commission in terms of section 6 (1) of the West Bengal Staff Selection Commission, apply before 13/09/2013. APPLICATION FEE All categories except Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities (of 40% and above only) examination fee – Rs. 200 and processing fee is 20 and total fee is 220.
