General Manager(Rolling Stock& Electrical)

Tenure On deputation/contract basis initially for three years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions

Educational Qualification Degree in Electrical Engineering from an institute of repute

Experience Minimum 17 years experience in Group A Services of Indian Railways or its subsidiary/sister concerns, Metro Rail Corporations or any other department/PSU/Board/Organization of Government/Private sector Organizations. The candidate should have sufficient exposure in the planning, procurement, contract management, installation, testing and commissioning of modern Metro Rail systems comprising Rolling Stock integrated power distribution and traction systems, depot etc.

Age limit Maximum age should not exceed 55 years as on 1stAugust 2013

Job Description The candidate will be leading a team of Electrical and Rolling Stock Engineers of the entire project. He will be responsible for monitoring, contracts, planning, execution and commissioning of Rolling Stock and electrical Systems and depot. He will also be responsible for interfacing with other related disciplines. He should exercise quality, safety & cost control over the works.

Dy. General Manager( Property Development

Educational Qualification Graduate in civil Engineering with MBA degree from a reputed institute.

Experience Minimum 15 years experience in retail/ institutional marketing of real estate/town planning.He should be well acquainted in building laws, township planning etc.

Age limit Maximum age should not exceed 55 years as on 1stAugust 2013

Job Description The candidate will be responsible for managing the extensive property development programme of Kochi Metro Rail Project so as to maximize revenues innovatively from property development.

MANAGER (P & T)

Grade & Pay Scale E4, 29100 – 54500 (IDA)

Tenure On deputation/contract basis initially for three years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions

Educational Qualification & Experience B Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience on Metro/Railway Projects. The candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in Metro Rail Projects.

Age limit Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as on 1stAugust 2013

Job Description He shall be responsible for all works relating to Power & Traction. He will be responsible for execution, supervision and monitoring of all electrical works related to Traction system, power distribution and substations, including depot facilities. Interface management of Electrical requirements with civil, Rolling Stock and Signaling & Telecommunication departments also forms a part of his responsibility. He shall undertake post installation check of electrical systems.

MANAGER (S & T)

Job Description He shall be responsible for all works relating to Signaling & Telecommunications such as installation, testing and commissioning of S & T and Train Control systems. He shall supervise S & T installation of activities in corridor and depot. He will be responsible for interface management of signaling requirements with civil, Rolling Stock and Power and Traction departments. He shall undertake post installation check of signal systems.

EXECUTIVE( S & T)

Grade & Pay Scale E1, 16400 – 40500 (IDA)

Educational Qualification & Experience B Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with at least one year post qualification experience.

Dy. General Manager( Civil)

Grade E7, 43200 – 66000 (IDA)

Tenure On deputation/contract basis initially for three years, extendable for further periods on mutually agreed terms and conditions.

Educational Qualification B Tech (civil) or equivalent from an institute of repute.

Experience Minimum 15 years experience in Group A /Executive Services of Indian Railways/PSUs engaged in construction of large multidisciplinary railway projects, preferably in urban situations such as Metro/MRTS involving construction of via ducts, bridges, buildings.

Age limit Maximum age should not exceed 50 years as on 1stAugust 2013

Job Description The candidate will be reporting to Director (Projects) and responsible for overall supervision of civil construction.
