Job Description:

• Understand the testing requirement so as accurately estimate the individual effort that is required for testing.
• Create indepth test plans and test cases that would adequately test the functionalities.
• Execute the test plans and test cases successfully so as to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Document test plans and test results in a clear and timely manner in the prescribed templates.
• Perform peer review of the test cases, test scenarios and requirements traceability documents in a way that identifies gaps/errors to the maximum extent possible.
• Track defects raised so as to ensure closure within prescribed timeframes.
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions regarding product functionalities and testing with other team members.
• Perform root cause analysis of controllable defects and suggest/implement preventive and corrective measures to address the same.
