There is requirement for a research associate at NIAS in one of the projects undertaken by the Energy Environment Program anchored by Prof
Dilip R Ahuja and Prof D P SenGupta.

 

 

 

The project aims at estimating the maximum contribution (possible in a realistic sense) wind and
solar energy can make to the total power supply of Karnataka in 2017 and 2022 without having the storage facility. The work involves analysis of data and load curves of last two years for the state.

 

The assignment will be of six months duration. The remuneration, which can go up to 30,000 per month, will depend upon the qualification and experience of the candidate.

 

 

 The candidate should be of Masters or Engineering Graduates level and preferably has knowledge on power
systems.
