Description:This is a replacement position – the ideal situation would be for the new resource to start in a weeks time so that there could be few days of overlap and transition .The individual should have expertise in Oracle Packages/Functions/Procedures etc. Currently the data has been moved from SQL Server to staging area and needs to further migrate from staging to Target utilising functions/packages.  Skills Required: Should have understanding of Data Modelling and Data Architecture and OLTP systems Oracle PL/SQL, Functions/Packages, Triggers, Procedures, Oracle Scheduler Writing detail Tech Specs and Knowledge transition to developers Maintaining and Coordinating Data Mapping and Data Transformation logic Data Conversion Experience from SQL Server to Oracle XML concepts and Web Services desired SQL SERVER BI Developer The BI Developer is responsible for report development utilizing expert SSAS and SSRS skills. Key Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop visually appealing business intelligence using: SSRS, SSAS, Excel, SharePoint, and 3rd-party BI tools Support organizational decision-making by turning disparate data into concise and actionable information Design and develop data cubes and reports that utilize those cubes Mentor project team members to ensure an efficient, self-managed team Optimize and maintain existing BI functionality while designing and deploying new solutions Pursue continuous improvement of data quality, standardization of data management processes, efficiency, and quality of service Develop and maintain technical specifications and end user documentation of assigned projects and analysis Train process owners to leverage self-service reporting tools and build reports themselves MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of Microsoft business intelligence stack experience Fluent in the T-SQL structured query language Proven competency in the MDX multi-dimensional query language Must have good analytical, conceptual and root cause analysis skills Extensive knowledge and experience with Data Warehousing and Data Marts Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, SQL Server 2008, and Source Control Software
