General Conditions:

Age for the -ion will be calculated as on the 1st day of January of the year in which the notification for the -ion is published.
The prescribed qualification and experience should be acquired on or before the last date stipulated for the receipt of the application. Qualifications should be from approved institutions.
The -ion process will be based on academic qualifications and experience and will also include written test / skill test / group discussion and/or interview as may be decided depending on the total number of eligible applicants.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the -ion process.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years.Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or degree of Goa Medical School (Medico Cirurgiao). Scale of pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,000/- Age: Not exceeding 42 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor. Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information science/ documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library. (ii) Qualifying in the National Level Test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or State Level Test (SET) accredited by the UGC. Those holding Ph.D Degree are exempted from NET. Candidates holding Ph.D. degree and are already in the University system and have obtained Master’s Degree prior to 1991 be given relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of marks for appointment to the post of College Librarian.
