'Support Engineer Jobs For Spectrum Softtech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.'



Job Description

Major Job Responsibilities :
1. Support to Software Team in coordination with US Customer/Technical Support Team:
(i) Requirement analysis of Client/Customer Support/Technical Support/Quality Analyst/Production Manager and understanding the present Workflow. Checking if the present Workflow can be modified to meet their requirements. If not, suggesting ideas to incorporate the new requirement into the existing Workflow. Finally, giving requirement to SW Team.
(ii) coordinating with the Departments who have given the requirements and clarifying the doubts of SW Team regarding the requirement.
(iii) Manual Testing of Applications and Modification related to Softwares at Client side.
(iv) Testing of Hardware Items like Recorders, PDAs,Tablets,iPhones/iPads etc that are used by the Clients.
2. Support to US Customer/Technical Support Team:
(i) Assisting in answering Technical Queries raised by US Clients.
(ii) Participating in the Testing as and when requested by the Team.
3. Support for Internal Departmental Staff/Business Associates/Sub-Contractors/Training Division etc through Calls, Tickets, Remote Access etc:
(i) Troubleshooting Technical Issues related (confidential business terminology) Softwares, Files etc.
(ii) Answering the Queries.
(iii) Auditing.
(iv) Orientation for proper Software installation and suage.
(v) Software Installation.
(vi) Uploading Files.
(vii) Sending File Count List for Sub-Contractors.
(viii) Uploading Schedules.
4. Support for Recruitment Division:
(i) Conducting On Line Tests.
(ii) Coordinating with various Departments for the getting the Test evaluated.
5. Preparing Documentation:
(i) Preparing Documentation and Presentations on Software and Hardware Devices used for the process to be given as Help Files for Clients/Analysts.
(ii) Preparing FAQs to be posted in the Spectrum and SpectraMedi FAQ Sites.
(iii) Documentation of the Work Flow and Test Cases.
6. Updating and Maintaining Data:
(i) Daily Work Done.
(ii) Audit List with Passwords.
(iii) Checklists.
(iv) Category-wise Reports.
7. Training/Orientation for:
(i) New Joiners.
(ii) Team Members.
(iii) Colleagues.
8. Monitoring health, proper working condition and status of:
(i) EPBX.
(ii) Voice Mail System.
(iii) Spectrum Software.
(iv) Demo systems
(v) OTRS
etc

Notes:
1. There is every possibility that you would have to carry out the above listed responsibilities. However, the opportunity to carry out them would depend on whether there is a requirement present for the same during the time you are employed with Spectrum.
2. Additional/Secondary Responsibilities based on the need of any Situation and Future Requirements.
